En esta serie, utilizo la ciudad nocturna como un caleidoscopio visual.

Since late 2022, I have been experimenting with street photography but from a different perspective than what I usually do: through Intentional Camera Movement (ICM). During my evening walks around the city, I carried my camera to capture images of people coming and going. In December, the city's rhythm changes completely. And not only the rhythm, but also, as in all cities around the world, its appearance. Christmas is approaching, and all the streets shine with Christmas lights, while the shop windows are a mixture of colored lights.

I usually work in black and white, and I have my cameras set up so that the viewfinder displays images in black and white. However, when I transfer the photos to view and edit them, they appear in color. It was a surprise to discover all those city colors intermingled due to the movement of my camera. A new creative perspective opened up.

Observing and photographing the city at night, blending all those colors it offered me, was an exciting find.

We are approaching those special dates again. In a few months, the city's shop windows will once again provide me with all kinds of tones and combinations to capture the city's nightlife, the hustle and bustle of people in the streets, or solitary streets with a unique charm.

The city unfolded before me like a magical nighttime kaleidoscope.
