Black and White Visual Stories of Cities and Their Streets

Black and white street photography is my way of staying connected to my day-to-day life, to what surrounds me, and capturing the pulse of the cities and their streets. In this section, I invite you to step into my universe in black and white, where each image is a captured moment, a fragment of life that unveils the essence of the places I have visited. My camera focuses on the long shadows cast by the light at dusk, on the fleeting silhouettes of anonymous figures on portraits that give them identity, and on the footsteps that cross squares and avenues. It’s not just about documenting spaces, but about feeling them: discovering poetry in chaos, beauty in the everyday and authenticity in those details that often escape a distracted eye.

From vibrant corners to neighborhoods immersed in silence, my work seeks to unravel the essence of each city, both those that are part of my daily life and those that have welcomed me along the way. Each street resonates with stories, and this collection grows with every new journey. Black and white street photography is my way of freezing time, inviting you to walk with me and discover the magic hidden in the ordinary. Here, cities speak to me, and I translate them into images.

The essence of a city is a blend of reality and the interpretation of the one perceiving it.

The Newcastle Rhapsody is a lament and an ode, a sigh and a roar, a symphony of life in the city.

I wandered through the most popular streets, which does not mean they are the best or that they capture the essence of this city.

There are areas in many cities that are like a microcosm.

Observing and photographing the city at night, blending all those colors it offered me, was an exciting find.
